Ok, so I am trying to ship a $1200 item to a fellow tt.net member. I
usually use UPS, so I took it there, and they want $200 to ship it.
While that's a lot, that's not really my main problem here. The guy I'm
shipping to lives in an apartment complex, and the thought of this box
sitting on the doorstep there just doesn't appeal to either of us. There is no one else in the area (89191 zip code) that he knows of for
me to ship it to, so we thought maybe another ups store or hub, and
then he can just pick it up from there. Well, I talked to the UPS Store
here, several in the Nevada 89191 and around area, and a UPS hub in
the area, and everyone says they won't let me ship to them. What do you guys recommend? Is there another shipping service that
will allow me to do this? I'm learning after shipping over a hundred
times through UPS, how much I need to stop using them. They are
never cooperative with anything. I want to make sure he gets this
package, but this is taking far to long for me to get out to him, and I
don't feel good about that. I don't like waiting for packages, and
others shouldn't as well. Thanks for the help.
